We will celebrate outside @ The Plant, a 16-acre eco-industrial park to safely spread out and enjoy our tasting styled Fest!
We will host around 1,000 folks who enjoy live music and revelry, learning and discovery – while filling up on delicious pepper-themed dishes made with delicious, locally grown sweet, hot and smoky NC peppers. Chefs compete for awards. Foodies taste all the different dishes made from peppers grown in the Piedmont of North Carolina. Children run wild, folks dance, laugh and enjoy the many different creations. Pepper awards are crowned, local businesses and non profits share their news and we all go home very happy.
We will have live music with Diali Cissokho & Kaira Ba, Colin Cutler, Imagine Circus performers, an artistic educational and cultural walkthrough, a 21+ lounge, a kid’s zone with activities, vendors, a small farmers’ market and fun for the entire family.
Partake in all the small businesses on The Plant, including the Chatham Beverage District’s distillery, cidery, meadery and local beers, Copeland Spring Farms and Kitchen, Chatham Axes, Carolina Hemp Tours, Hempsmith, Oak City Hemp, Tick Warriors, Vortex Brew, Smelt Art Gallery and BMC Brewing COMING SOON!
Join us for an unforgettable day.

2021 Spice Squad Volunteers
This year, to offset labor for our chefs, we’re supplying them with volunteers. You don’t need to know how to do anything except follow instructions and have a good time. Join the Spice Squad here.
About this year’s poster artist:
My name is Rebekah Evans and I am an artist from NC. I studied Drawing and Printmaking at UNCG, where I got my BFA in 2017. My works are usually made with watercolor, graphite, and ink on paper. They feature things that make me happy – like sweet animal friends, flowers, and figures. I take a lot of influence from shoujo manga and anime, children’s illustration, my dreams, and my everyday. I make my drawings full time and run a small business sharing them with others, hoping to bring them the same joy that they bring me.
